The final series of the 1st Round turned out to be a sweep of the ’13-’14 Winnipeg Jets by the ’10-’11 Vancouver Canucks. Daniel Sedin provided all the offense the Canucks needed in Game 1 with a five goal performance. He then followed that up with two goals in Game 2 to finish the series with a series-high seven goals. As expected, his brother, Henrik Sedin, was right behind him for the team lead in points with five, all being assists on his brother’s goals. Defenseman Christian Ehrhoff posted good two-way numbers with one goal and three assists for four points and a plus/minus rating of +5. Roberto Luongo really shutdown the ’13-’14 Jets’ offense by allowing only one goal a game, to go along with a .965 SV%.

As I said before, the Jets didn’t score much. They only scored four goals in the four games and they came from four different players, Blake Wheeler, Bryan Little, Matt Halischuk and Toby Enstrom. Wheeler, Little and Halischuk were the only Jets to register more than one point. In net, goaltender Ondrej Pavelec had a very good series. After allowing five goals in Game 1, Pavelec only allowed seven goals over the next three games for a 3.00 GAA and he posted a .936 SV%.
