So, there WILL be a new Panthers rep in the UNP. The ’07-’08 Panthers swept the 41st-seeded ’21-’22 Hamilton Tigers in the First Round and then were swept by the 9th-seeded ’71-’72 New York Rangers in the Second Round.

Players to Watch:

  • RW – Scott Mellanby – A legend in Florida Panthers lore. It was his slap shot that killed a rat in their locker room that began the rat throwing craze that Panther fans have become known for. He was also a tough bastard to play against.
  • RW – Pavel Bure – Always a player to watch. Bure only spent three plus seasons with the Panthers, but posted 152 goals and 99 assists for 251 points in 223 games played.
  • G – John Vanbiesbrouck – Beezerrrrrrrr!!!
