The ’13-’14 Columbus Blue Jackets made their first Ultimate NHL Playoff appearance in the Second Annual UNP after the ’12-’13 Blue Jackets appeared in the inaugural UNP. Both were able to get by the ’11-’12 Phoenix Coyotes in the First Round before being eliminated in the Second Round.

Players to Watch:

  • LW – Rick Nash – Columbus’ #1 overall pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft is by far their leading scorer in the franchises history. Over nine seasons with the club, he posted 289 goals and 258 assists for 547 points in 674 games played. He was a 7-time 30 goal scorer and two-time 40-goal scorer over that span.
  • G – Sergei Bobrovsky – Bob.
  • LW – David Vyborny – He ranks second in franchise history in games played, goals, assists and points. All behind Nash. I know it’s not saying much when he’s a player to watch, but he did post two 60 point seasons with the Blue Jackets and was a very solid winger.

The tournament results will be posted on the next weekday at 1 pm EST!
