The ’85-’86 Hartford Whalers have represented the franchise in both Ultimate NHL Playoffs so far. However, they then ran into the third seed and were briskly knocked out.

Players to Watch:

  • C – Ron Francis – The Hall of Famer is the all-time leading scorer in Hartford Whalers history. His mark of 101 points during the ’89-’90 season was his highest during his time as a Whaler.
  • RW – Kevin Dineen – He had two stints as a Whaler from 1984-1992 and from 1995-1997. A fan favorite in Hartford, Dineen is one of only five players to score 350+ goals and totaling over 2,000 penalties in minutes.
  • D – Ulf Samuelsson – Ulf was known for his dedication and toughness…..to his home fans. Everyone else saw him as arguably the dirtiest player to ever play in the NHL. He finished his Whaler career with 1,110 PIM’s in 463 games played over six plus seasons.

The tournament results will be posted on the next weekday at 1 pm EST!
