  8. ’06-’07 Vancouver Canucks (49-26-7, 105 points (1st in Northwest), Lost in Conference Semifinal, 0.39 SRS)

The ’10-’11 Vancouver Canucks have represented the franchise in both of the first two Ultimate NHL Playoffs. They improved off their run in the inaugural UNP, which saw them out after two rounds, by making it to the Third Round before running into a member of the Oilers dynasty. They’re certainly the favorite to make it back to the UNP here.

Players to Watch:

  • F – Henrik Sedin/Daniel Sedin – They have been the focal point of the Vancouver Canucks’ offense for almost the past decade.
  • C – Trevor Linden – If there was a Mr. Vancouver Canuck contest, I think it’s safe to say that this guy would probably win. He’s worn the Canucks jersey more times than anyone else and is also a Member of the Order of Canada!
  • LW – Markus Naslund – If there was a Mr. Vancouver Canuck contest, I think it’s safe to say that this guy would probably win. He held the franchise record for points until both the Sedin’s broke it, however, Naslund has played in about 200 less games than both of the twins.

The tournament results will be posted on the next weekday at 1 pm EST!
