Here is the 2016 Tampa Bay Lightning Qualifying Tournament in its entirety.

The 2nd-seeded ’14-’15 Tampa Bay Lightning are now the third different representative for the franchise and they almost dropped the opening game of this qualifier final. The 4th-seeded ’13-’14 Tampa Bay Lightning led 2-1 very late into the third period. With the goaltender pulled and the extra attacker on, Brian Boyle tied it for the ’14-’15 Lightning with just 17 seconds remaining. It then took just over two minutes into overtime for Alex Killorn to win it for the ’14-’15 Lightning as they took a 1-0 series lead. Then, courtesy of a five-point (4G, 1A) performance from Tyler Johnson, the ’14-’15 Lightning took a 2-0 series lead with a 5-2 win in Game 2. The ’13-’14 Lightning got on the board in the series with a 6-2 win of their own. Ondrej Palat registered a hat trick and added an assist for a four-point effort in the win for the ’13-’14 Lightning. Palat did the same thing in Game 4, only for the ’14-’15 Lightning. He scored twice, including the game-winner four plus minutes into overtime, while also tallying two assists as the ’14-’15 Lightning won 4-3 to take a 3-1 series lead. They closed the series out with a 3-0 shutout win in Game 5 as Ben Bishop stopped all 27 shots he saw while both Palat (1G, 2A) and Nikita Kucherov (2G, 1A) posted three-point nights.
