Players to Watch:

  • G – Patrick Roy – One of the best ever and one of my personal favorites of all time. He was the backstop for the greatest Avalanche teams. He won the Conn Smythe Trophy for his performance in the 2001 playoffs and the William M. Jennings Award the very next season.
  • C – Joe Sakic – Mr. Colorado Avalanche. He’s the franchise leader in goals (391), assists (624) and points (1,015). He won the 1996 Conn Smythe Trophy and he won the Hart, Lady Byng, Lester B. Pearson and Plus-Minus Awards/Trophies during the ’00-’01 season.
  • C – Peter Forsberg – I absolutely love Foppa. He was SOOOO good and his legacy was a bit damaged due to some injury woes. He finished with 885 career points in 708 career games and 705 of those points came in Colorado in just 544 games.

The tournament results will be posted on the next weekday at 1 pm EST!
