The Pittsburgh Penguins have not had a good record as a franchise in the Ultimate NHL Playoff as they are still looking for their first series win. They’ve had a First Round bye in both tournaments and then followed that up by getting eliminated in the Second Round. In the inaugural UNP, it was the ’12-’13 Penguins as the 10th seed and in the Second Annual UNP, it was the ’95-’96 Pittsburgh Penguins as the 11th seed.
