The ’07-’08 Detroit Red Wings have been the third seed in both of the Ultimate NHL Playoffs so far. In the inaugural tournament, the ’07-’08 Red Wings got eliminated early, the Third Round, but in the Second Annual UNP, they made a run to the Quarterfinal. However, once there, they were eliminated by the eventual runners up.
Players to Watch:
- RW – Gordie Howe – Mr. Hockey, duh.
- C – Steve Yzerman – Only two players have worn the winged-wheel longer and one of them is the guy at the top of this list.
- C – Pavel Datsyuk – Went with three Red Wing legends of three different eras.
